These days, banks are bragging about ‘personal service’, while opening call centres in Asia to provide the personnel and service.

A senior representative of one of these major high street banks actually claimed, on TV, that the move was forced, because of the unreliability of local temporary staff.

Temporary staff? Given the choice, I’d rather discuss my finances with an experienced professional.
